Zhuxian Town Wood-block prints

Overview

Zhuxian Town Woodblock New Year Prints are a traditional Chinese folk art recognized as an important form of cultural heritage. This project explores how traditional visual elements and symbolic meanings from these prints can be translated into modern character branding and visual design. The goal was to create a contemporary visual identity that raises awareness of this cultural tradition while making it more accessible to modern audiences.

The final work was presented through a series of visual designs and a physical exhibition.
